brought a ps2, need to knw about chipping..

Hi guys wondering if you can give me any info...i have brought a playstation 2 and want to get it chipped so it can play backups.

i have heard of chips like neo.and messiah and want to knw where can i get a messiah chip from..? im from the uk but have freinds in canada/vancouver so if any one knows of a source over there pls let me knw so i can let my mates knw so they can get me a messiah chip.

You're best bet

Okay mate, first thing to do is get yourself a copy of computer shopper. Then have a look in there for your nearest computer fair. I find that those are the best places to get yourself a mod chip from. You might also want to have a look at www.gamecopyworld.com as they have european hardware links.

PS. Don't forget that is only legal to play backups of games you have already bought (if you get my drift) 😀

Chipping a PS2 is a pain in the ass. I've done it for friends before www.modchip.com closed down...but just so you know..you can onyl play PS1 backups...unless you know someone with a DVD burner since most PS2 games are DVD-ROM...g'luck finding many PS2 "backups"
