Brand or price [?]

I've started this topic wondering what others decide to be the most important in their choice ...

Brand or the Price

For example I've took the Ti4200 under 2 brands

My decision ? .. The brand, sure , but let's discuss a little

I'd say Price. But not always of course. Mostly the cheaper brands are just as good as the more expensive brands. So mostly it's price for me. Sometimes however the quality differs, then I go for brand just to be safe.

Hmm, maybe I have to go on price because I buy Intel?
Nah, the reason I go for Intel is it cools easier. I like my computer (reasonably) silent. Can't really do that with an air-cooled AMD.
