I'm not sure if I have started a "OMGNEWHARDWARE" thread yet, so I'll just consider this my first.

When your screen encompasses your vision all the way to your blind spots, it makes a huge difference in game/movie immersion. Plus I don't own a television, so it's partially out of necessity that I bought it.

I have a sneaking feeling that a 20.1" LCD from DELL or ViewSonic would have .1" to 1.1" more viewing area and be somewhat lighter on the wallet and the back :D

Either way looks like you got one of the best CRT's in existance and should serve you well for many many years :D

I got it from a company that sells used monitors...$199 and free shipping. Not real big on the latest and greatest, really...my entire system is a delicate balance of thrift and power. The only monitor I've had break down on me is the only one I got new :D

NEC are great monitors, mine weights 74 pounds. And crushing a small child is a good analogy, well it made me laugh atleast :)

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
