1 of the known issues - in installing Win Xp’s Service Pack 1 - is the
CORE SYSTEM FILE ( KERNEL ) …. I.e NTOSKRNL.EXE boot file
Microsoft recommends Un Installing software which modify the above file
naming specifically “ BootXP “
I’ve UnInstalled BootXP ( Control Panel > Add/Remove ) BUT !!!!
1. Boot menu - installed by BootXP - is still there - UNCHANGED
2 . BootXP’s “ boot screen “ is still there & not Win Xp’s original
Boot Screen
How can I restore the required setting for a successful installation of
Win Xp’s SP1 ????
