I installed NortonSystemWorks and booting the sytem dramatically deteriated. But uninstaling improved booting time only marginally. i experienced in the first graph "booting activity"of the bootvis program 50 time units(is it seconds?) for logon and services. Is normal procedure? Who has experienced with above Norton program similar problems?

did u use bootvis and try to make it faster???

sounds like you got alot of stuff in your start up folder, might follow the guide in here
