I have windows XP pro on an K7S5A (Elitegroup) mobo. When I restarted my comp. it gave me a blue screen right after the windows logo.... it said:
A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,
restart the computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation
or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration,
and check fpr any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check
for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x00000023 (0x000E0100, 0xF89C9474, 0xF89C9174, 0x805810A7)
Well I tried safe mode and everything.... but I can't seem to run the CHKDSK /F in DOS Mode.... can anyone help?
