boot screen problems

i'm using reshack and my boot screen is always shifted down, it's never positioned correctly.

i just replace the bitmap in the exe with mine, but it always ends up shifted down when i reboot. it's pissing me off.

can anyone help?

It's probably a resolution/monitor thing.

Go to display properties, settings, advanced, adapter, list all modes.

Choose 640x480 16 colors

Now your screen will be probably out of sync as well. Use the monitor menu (on the monitor itself) to adjust it.

If that isn't the problem, I can't help you.

naw, it's the boot screen while xp is first booting up.
