hey, I don't know if this is correct, this is what I see in my boot.ini file after installing bootxp (but I'm not thinking about using Bootxp, just wanted to see something).

[boot loader]
timeout =10
default = multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
/KERNEL=LOGOOS.EXE
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /KERNEL=LOGOOS.EXE
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="(Backup Line) Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

shoudn't it be:

[boot loader]
timeout =10
default = multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
/KERNEL=ntoskrnl.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /KERNEL=ntoskrnl.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="(Backup Line) Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

??😕 😕 😕

I found logoos.exe and took a look with Resource Hacker and it looks the same...now which one should it be?? the first one or the second one??

after about a half hour to a hour, I got it set up so it'll work with LogonuiBootrandomiser (I downloaded that yesterday before posting that first post 🙄 ) along with bootxp (which I uninstalled), I even removed some unneeded stuff, and had no problems now.

and thanks for some links 😉
