Boot.ini and bootcfg.exe

Microsoft Knowledge Base suggest to use bootcfg.exe to modify boot.ini. I do not have such file! Of course I set Explorer to show system and hidden files: I see boot.ini in the root list, but bootcfg.exe doesn't exist. Any advise?

XP Pro or XP Home?

It works on XP Pro ... that's certain.
Start>Run>cmd to open Command Prompt.
Then type "bootcfg /?" to see the options.

Can't you just edit the boot.ini? I thought that was all you had to do.

Yeah, editing it manually is the easiest way I think.
I've never used bootcfg myself.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
