boot from slave

hello...
I want to know if there is any boot up progam that configures bios to load windows from the slave harddrive as default. That currently has windows 98SE on it. and then be able to load the other windows (XP)from a click of a button during boot. I can not put the windows 98SE harddrive as an master because i it then crashes with the new harddrive and makes it impossible to reach that harddrive(cant fomat or part it)
