i have recently installed and tweaked winxp a bit... but i've gotten 2 blue screens in like the past 10 min they are
"Bad_Pool_Caller" and "Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area" . the page error says the file "watchdog.sys" caused it.. how do i fix this?.. or partially fix it
what the heck are you smoking... rofl.. its a hardware or OS error..... i downloaded critical updates from windowsupdate for XP.. some were sp2 related... although i only have sp1 installed .. could the updates be the problem?
try disable "write combining" under the "Troubleshoot" tab in Display Advanced Properties
if problem still occur, probably is ram fault. try switch or use 1 ram to test ur ram.
also u can try to disable pagefile completely. restart then delete the pagefile.sys then enable back your pagefile. mayb your pagefile is corrupted as like my previous error on 1 of my pc some time ago.
Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
