Blocking internet access on a Router

I just hooked up a router and I want to block internet access to a few stations.

I've turned on the DHCP server on the router and all the computers are setup.

What is the best solution?

Router is USR 8000A

Thanx

no, I want them on the network but with no internet access

Look around in the config (and the manual). My Linksys router as options to filter access from certain IP addresses, IP ranges, and even MAC addresses.

if I create a range that's able to access the net
and another one to disable the net

how does the router know what IP address to assign the computers?

and no my router doesn't have mac ranges

Set up static IP addresses

Turn DHCP off and manually assign a permanemt IP to each computer on the LAN. Tne block the IPs of the computer that you want to not access the internet

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
