ok

i have 2 main accounts on my computer:
mine(admin)
everyone else (poweruser)

is there any way of disabling the poweruser from using the control panel? and various other programs?
i have changed it to disallow access in in gpedit.msc but that disabled my control panel as well??

any help appreciated

thx
:)

Out Side of group policy and security policy your going to have to use a third party tool.

You could take away rights from the power users group using the security policy.

If you set options under computer config in group policy it will apply to all accounts but you should be able to get the required settings per user by setting the user config setting you need.

Do a little search of the board simular questions have been asked you may find something helpful.

for anyone interested, 1st security agent is a god

easy to use and works like a charm

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
