Hi Folks,

I am new here and this is my first post. A friend of mine gave me a dell latitude X300 laptop as I was looking for one for a couple of projects I am working on. Anyway, I have to access the bios in order to make a change in the bootup device config and unfortunately my friend has forgotten what it is. We have tried several different ones but to no avail. Is there a way for my to somehow reset it or delete the password completely?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Seapep

PS Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Put him into a state of hypnosis and force him to remember, and while you are at it, get all of his money too.

LOL call Dell tech support and I am sure they can help.

ps: Sorry for thinking your going to get no help at all around here.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
