I hadn't actually heard anything about this application since Long posted some of the concepts back in July (check that out here), but just randomly checking out the latest Microsoft downloads I saw the Bing client on there.
Sadly, it literally does seem like nothing more than a rebrand of the Windows Live mobile client I was using before, but of course there are still some pretty cool features for finding local services.
Apologies if this wasn't infact a new release, but on the plus side the client was updated on the 30th July so will likely be at least an update.
