Beta 2 CompletePC Backup

Hi all,

Im trying to investigate the various ways of deploying Vista, but im not getting very far. I have tried using Ghost v7.5 but it fails with a blue screen. I then tried the new CompletePC backup feature, but when i get to the first screen (where you choose whether its goes to local disk or DVD) it is all greyed out! I am logged in as administrator and im running the the latest business version.

ANy ideas?

Is the deployment centre not on the CD somewhere?
Is the best way of deploying Vista.

Nope the deployment tools arent available yet. I working in a training centre so i often have to investigate the many ways in which i can deploy platforms quickly. Does it work on your copy of vista?

Not got it handy but Microsoft showed it to me on Saturday.
The actual deployment app was running on 2003 but obviously had Vista in it, looked very cool.

He customised using drag and drop, and entering values etc (partition data and such) then showed us a machine booting into Windows PE via PXE and starting off a completely unattended Vista installation, pretty cool.

Do you know when Microsoft will releasing the beta 2 WAIK tools?
