I say D-Link.

Some Linksys stuff has trouble with cable providers here for whatever reason.

I've had trouble using Linksys products on the Mac.

D-Link has the option to use their 'extreme' router + NIC for transfer rates up to 108mbit/13.5mbyte/second.

And its cheaper! :D

if you guys watch the broken though www.thebroken.org they explain how linksys routers arent safe enough or somthing i forgot watched it like 2 months ago if not more. my friend has a linksys 54g one and i like it its nice but the others like d-link are cheaper which doesnt really matter just a perk, and seem to be more secure.

the nature of wireless right now is that it is not secure, no matter what type of encryption you use...it's getting better, but the encryption algorithms are weak/broken so don't expect to be secure when using wireless!!

have a linksys wr54g on a cable line and never had any problems with it, but then again I was always pretty paranoid, with security.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
