what's the best FTP software that's pretty cheap?

I use pro... The LE version is O.K. (used an older version of LE about 2 1/2 years ago when was still usin 98SE) if you are just gonna use it for basic stuff. Otherwise go with Pro.

For a Server: Serv-U 4.0.0.3

For a Client: FlashFXP

Serv-U is currently at version 4.1.

For a client, though a little 9x, I still use LeapFTP. current version is 2.7.3.6. I use it because it has all the other features the popular clients have, it's stable, basic and fast, and I think its the best for RAW commands.

Bulletproof makes a very nice server ...very simple to use

I use AceFTP. The Pro version is free, but you have to submit info about yourself then they'll email you the reg code.

I have also used WS-FTP and I can say I like AceFTP much better.
