Benefits of Adding another 512 (2700) Ram?

Just seen the price of 512 DDR2700 which has dropped in price from when i bought it 6 months ago (£115) to £45 at such a low price i was thinking of getting another stick "just for the sake of it" but what if any benefits can i gain from it ?.

Its a feature of the nForce2 motherboards, must be part of other chipsets as well. but I dont know them
