BayImg: Where you can skip the "-bait" subject and just get jail

The Pirate Bay's new image hosting service is a great place to visit if you hate freedom--in the literal sense. Considering child pornography is illegal in Sweden, this site will probably serve involuntarily as a honey pot for international investigative task forces.

I hope my prediction will be proven wrong and people don't post child porn (or the Pirate Bay will be at least decent enough to take them down).

I didn't actually think of that when I read about this site this morning...

It seems like those guys are for absolute free speech so I wouldn't be surprised to see child porn/bomb making plans/etc on there.

Have you heard about the YouTube competitor they plan to launch soon? That should be even more interesting...

You're right! That too. It would probably be best to wait a little while before visiting the sites; child porn is one of those "guilty until proven innocent" sectors of the law in most countries.

No need to worry!

Unable to connect

What about this?:

As long as your pictures are legal they will be hosted here

CP is illegal.

Maybe there's something up with the OP, especially if they know a typical name of such content...

I don't understand the notion of visiting Bay Img means you hate freedom... rather odd and stupid conclusion. I remember I had a picture of the Venus De Milo on my photobucket account and it was removed because it violated the terms of service. How strange since the random image search on their site brings up many pictures scantly clad females which are questionable. Photographs. Yet paintings, depicting nudity in a non provocative manner, are considered obscene.

I may use Bay Img as an alternative host sometime without having to worry whether any images that I deem as inoffensive are considered something that they are not by some image host.

I doubt they would get anymore child porn pictures then any other image hosting site. Most any persons dealing in that sort of things are still going to keep it more "underground" then a public image host. What this would be good for is just your regular "questionable" material that would get your images deleted on most every other image host around (ie. what Mercury said above).

So in some states you could marry a 14 year old and get her pregnant, but to take a picture is illegal.

Makes no sense, not that I am for child porn, but more for raising the legal age of a much more dangerous thing (marriage) to at least 21.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:
As long as we can lower the drinking age to 18, I'm all for it....

I mean raising the marriage age.
