How do i turn of the hint ballons in xp in the task bar

Also if you have Power Toys for XP, Tweek UI.

Under the "Taskbar and Start Menu" heading make sure the "Enable Ballon Tips" box is unchecked.

Avoid powertoy cause is almost the same job as the Group Policy Option :
Start - Run - Gpedit.msc
