Hi guys,

Now that my computer is running well, I want to back it up to CDRs. What is a good program to use? Any freeware? Also, how do these type programs work? Are the CDs executable files?

Thanks in advance!

It's not freeware but Norton Ghost works quite well. You can get it individually or as part of the Norton Systemworks Professional Edition. Hope that helps.

As far as Free ware is concerned try "My Own Backup" or MYOB for short (use Google search).
NT Backup on the XP cd will work on backups for DVD /CD Writers etc.
If you click the backup, all restore files backed up are ticked for inclusion (all or part) in restore.
You can choose one of three file modes in the Advanced section for restore, depending if you want to leave existing XP system files as they are ,or change to possible updated versions .available on the backup. etc.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
