If I have a heap of sent and recieved mail in Outlook and i want to keep it all to put back in a reinstall of XP or Take the mail from an ME install and put it in XP how do I do it?
Where is it all stored?

Do a search for .dbx files. That is the file type for Outlook Express e-mail stores.

have a look at the program e-backup. It works geat for me

If you have a separate drive/partition, change the store directory to a folder on the other drive/partition. Then backing up won't be an issue, all you'll have to do is change the directory to where you saved everything after each Windows install and it will automatically put everything back. I'm not at home atm, but if I recall correctly, it is Tools->Options->Maintenance->Store Directory.

You can also use the export option under File->Export (you can also back up your address book) and then obiously you would use import to bring them back after install.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
