It seemes to me that information below could be interesting.
I found a nice program which converts PowerPoint presentations into AVI or mp4 Video without using PowerPoint! The converting process allowing human interaction on PowerPoint content during conversion.
Anybody can convert a PowerPoint ppt or pps file to Video! it is simple and powerful.

Would actually be cheaper to buy Powerpoint tho eh? They want to charge 200 (currency unstated but is $) for the personal licence.

I agree I beleive M$ offer it for free as an addin. I have it somewhere, try dig-it-out later.
