few avg related questions

i want to keep the icon hidden. each time i start my computer, the icon reappears, and i have to go back into my taskbar settings (you know, the 'hide inactive icons' thing) and change it so its hidden. any way to fix this?

that, AND, every time my system starts, it runs a test. any way to disable this?

You should be able to stop it scanning by using the options in AVG. I only use mine when I download something. As for the other problem mine stays hidden on the task bar.
