is there a way to re-order the programs that autostart at boot? I hope you get me. I have for example msn messenger and my firewall, and i wanna have that my firewall autostart first and then msn messenger. Is this possible?

Yes and no. No because the program in question has to give somekind of exit code first. But you can put all of the files in a batch file. Windows will execute the files in that order, but it might come that while the firewall is starting, Windows Messenger starts up.
Just make a batch file like this:

**beginning of batch file**

start %PATH_TO%\firewall.exe

start %PATH_TO%\msnmsg.exe

etc...

**end of batch file**

Read somewhere else in the web but never tried it in XP.

Number your shorcut in the Startup Folder i.e.

1firewall
2msnmsg

no harm if you want to try it . .

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
