autorun doeasnt work on my computer *help*

hi guys

i have windows xp pro. autorun function doeasnt work on my computer.
when i insert a cd - i have to manually open the drive and select autorun if i want to install any software. anybody know to recify this and also how can i get windows to open my cd folder automatically every time i insert my cd.

get the power toys.Also there is a reg hack to dis-enable it.

Right click on your cd rom/properties/auto play. See if anything in there will do you.
