autoplay

when i right click on my cd drive there is no option for autoplay it reads my drive but does not autoplay music.
how can i enable autoplay?

Are you right-clicking and selecting Properties? If not, do that and there should be a tab available where you can select the option and what app you want to use.

When I right click /properties there are 3 tabs general-hardware-sharing

Found this, hope it helps.

"If you're CD's don't autoplay and the Autoplay tab is missing from the Properties (right click the CD drive and select Properties), then click Start, Run and enter SERVICES.MSC Scroll down to Shell Hardware Detection and make sure this service is Started and set to Automatic."
