Hello group
I'm working on a project and I want to be able to somehow disable/enable a network access for security reason.

I want the sequence to look like this:

Boot A: No network access
At midnight, automatic reboot
Boot B: Network access
Update some stuff from the network
Automatic reboot
Boot A: ...

I though about using 2 hardware profiles but as long as there's nobody to choose the profile at boot time it can't work.

Could I use 2 different user profiles? If so, how can I force one specific login at each boot?

Tia for your help!

The only thing I could think of: Setup the network connection for one user so that the TCP/IP protocol is removed and/or 'un-binded' from the 'Local Area Network' which would very much disallow network access.

Good luck! :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
