Hello Everyone,

I am wondering if there is a free program out there that I can sure I can enter the URL of a website, and it will download images over a certain size or resolution.

Thanks,

lieb39

A spider should be able to do that.

If you're using Firebird there's an extension called SpiderZilla. Check it out on www.texturizer.net/firebird.
If you want a standalone app that can do this, look at something like HTTrack, on which SpiderZilla is based.
:)

Yeah, all you need to do is specify only *.jpg as the filetype to download, and it'll do the job.
:)

Slight issue... I just get the login page because the website requires me to login to see the pictures (its a forum.) Any way I can make the program use my cookies?

Hmm...haven't actually used HTTrack in the recent past. Not sure how to workaround this issue.
Maybe someone else might have the solution, or could direct you to an alternative.

Don't know the program in question. Maybe you can insert the URL in the form

http://username:password@www.anysite.com

.

try using flashget.
That allows you to specify usernames and passwords, and you can specify filetypes to only download.

Look for Aaron's WebVacuum...works beautifully...if you can't find it...PM your email address and I will get it to ya somehow...:)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
