Audio Popping Annoying!

I moved the audio card to the very bottom PCI slot and im still getting popping- it is also lagging my system from what I can tell...

Take IndyJones' advice, and at least give the KX drivers a chance (be sure to go into the surround sound settings and set to 5.1, if you have that setup. It's 2.1 by default.) I have had no popping since installing them, and I never moved my card or anything.

I tried those in the past and it made no difference- I have as of last night removed the sound card completely- and I have heard no popping of any kind. Looks like I'll be calling creative about their hardware.

i had to replace my hdd that did the trick cuz it was dying on me, did a fresh install of xp and no more pops
