audio extraction rate?

anyone know a good cd-rom drive that gives a good audio extraction rate i`m currently using a teac 540 40x and i only get 15x when copying from cd to cd

just a regular cd rom drive? Kenwood's drive like the 52x were good, but hard to find. I've found most newer creative drives are great also. although most of my audio extraction I do with my burner now which is a TDK. Both TDK and Plextor make great drives.
