Audio Converter ???

Hi,

Does anyone know of a aplication out thier that will convert a 30 or 40 meg wav into a much smaller wav file, im sure they exist but cant seem to find any

Sound Recorder? its already in windows, you can make it much smaller with the slight de-hancement of sound quality or just make it mpeg layer 3 or MP3 sure there is a nice easy tool for that

If you want a high quality mp3 (about 1/7th of the size), try using Lame 3.90.2. A good front end is RazorLame, or you could also use LamedropXPd 3.90.2.

If you want to keep the full quality of the .wav, you could use a lossless compressor such as Monkey's Audio or FLAC.
