I wiped my harddrive clean, and installed xp over again, now when I boot, it asks me to pick which version of xp prof I want to use, when I choose the top one, it works great, when I pic the other on, It says file not found, reinstall! I just want to get rid of this option of choosing between the two! Any ideas?

Rightclick 'my computer'. Click 'Advanced' tab and click 'Settings' under 'Startup and Recovery'. Remove the tick at 'Time to display list of operating systems' and click OK to confirm. Now restart your computer and you won't be nagged by that screen anymore!

go to the file c:\boot.ini and edit it. Remove the second line that says windows xp and you will have a normal boot

I used both , and they worked! Thanks SOOOO much!!!;)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
