My problem is that I cannot do anything on my computer that requires my video card to perform. I can't watch video's or play any games what so ever. The system just freezes and then restarts automatically. When window boots back up I get an error saying that there was a imcompatiblilty problem with blah blah blah Geforce 2 GTS. I can't even run dxdiag.

Here are my specs;

Windows XP Pro
Maxtor 40gb
1333mhz AMD
Elitegroup K7S5A mobo
512 mgs SDRAM
GeForce 2 GTS 32mb

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!!!

Updare to the latest drivers. If the ones that are crashing are the latest, get earler ones. then just keep rolling back until you find a version that works.

http://www.3dnews.ru/download/drivers/nvidia/
u can find all the nvidia drivers here, personally i think the 21.85
are the best. i have never seen that cruddy nv disp error, or irq not less crap either. course i cant use anything past 22.50 on my geforce 3 ti 500 as it renders my dvi port dead, still cant figure that out. :p

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
