my asus motherboard is annoying! everytime it boots it runs somthing called mbfast trak 133 for the ide drives and takes 1 min to scan them and then says no array .... something after no array then it also asks me what to boot from, EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! i want to just make it boot in the normal order without asking and also stop that annoying mb fasttrak133!

plz help thanks!

sounds like your raid controller.

do you have anything hooked up to your raid channels (ide3, ide4)? if not, disable it in the bios.

if you do, try maybe going into the raid controller setup screen and see if you can set something. or try going into your bios and mess with the boot order.

thats is the RAID setup, under the IDE conectors is the Promise IDE connector. move the jumper to 1-2 to turn it off, enjoy :D

Thanks Alot!

Ill do that right when i get out of the shower!:D

thanks man!

Thanks alot man! it worked i did the jumper! and it stopped that gay fast trak 133 but it still asked what drive ot boot from so i just disabled all the other devices i can boot from in the bois boot thingy and when i need them ill reenable them!

hahaha

hahahaa no it was this morning when i woke up when i replyed. i was going to take a shower. hehe nice one though:D

The reason it ask for "which drive" to boot is because you need to fix your Boot Sequence in the Boot Menu

1. Floppy
2. Atapi CD Rom
3. IDE Harddrive (the one that has Windows installed)

should be on page 78 (4.6) in the Manuel

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
