Hey, can anyone maybe make replacement AVI files for these standard windows AVIs?

if anyone is interested...perhapse you could base your work off a specific icon set, so that it will fit in with what im workin on... Let me know i can send the icons.

Well you saw my desktop... on the august desktop thread, im just further getting into it... Going to try and replace the AVI files that make the animations when you move/delete files and such. they are in shell32.dll. They have some that are 256 colors and some that are more... so if anyone is interested, ill extract them all and zip them and e-mail them/post them here. I would really like them to fit what theme i have goin here now, as i would like to try and release a theme pack or something. Thanks

hmm well, I would really like to help out, but dont really know how to make avi's...

i think you could do it like a GIF file, frame by frame then throw them all in a AVI compiler and go.. ill have to see if i can find some software that will do that. if anyone else knows anything dont be a fraid to drop a line.

yes, you can do that with several pieces of software, but actaully making the animated gifs waas what I meant...

i would imagine youd have to draw it frame by frame... maybe you could use layers to help, im no artist, but i know it wouldnt be an easy task...but by the same token to wont need to be goin at 23 FPS either!
