so whats this file then? i see it in my processes all of a sudden on XP... its not in my startup.. maybe its a service, what does it do? and how can i disable it. when i end the process it doesnt stop anything from working and after a while it starts again.. i also cant seem to find the actual exe on my drives? and it uses a canny bit of memory

any help appreciated

AproposClient is a Hijacker.

You will find Apropos has a directory in Program Files.

Please generate and post a HiJack This log.

i found it but it was all hidden and the reason i couldnt find it was because when i done a search i had "search hidden folders" unticked.. but its all sorted now.
