Very nice Techno Child. Nice wall, it goes well with everything.

i love wallapers like that. with the planets close in the background, its really effective, nice one.

Here it is mates, my first attempt at active desktop. I even went so far as to apply an XP visual style. I'm a minimalist who likes clean palettes and simple lines. Can you tell?

Visual Style:
- MarinaW (White compact 2 flag)
Active Desktop:
- program launcher
- links
- quicknotes: notes and budget (.txt source file, grey header as save button)
- google search
- calendar (self-updating)
(thanks MadMatt!)
CPU Stats:
- Coolmon
Trillian:
- Milk3
Wallpaper:
- Abstractive Promo 2 by abstractive (modified)
Firefox:
- Whitehart

I'm having trouble with one of the program launchers, though. Puzzle Pirates is a Java game. The shortcut is created according to all instructions, as is the VBS file. Other existing shortcuts have the targetted location as thus:
Code:
"C:\Program Files\Three Rings Design\Puzzle Pirates\java\bin\javaw.exe" -jar getdown-dop.jar .
Any ideas why this isn't working? I've tried different variations, with and without the jar extension. Any comments/suggestions are welcome!

Thanks mate! I take simple as a huge compliment. :)

I was going to post a plea for help regarding feeds and active desktop, but I think it better to maybe start another thread on the topic in this board... So watch out for it!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
