Thought id open up a thread where people state the names and use of all the applications you use. I am not counting games or programs like: flash, WMP, Quicktime, etc, programs that everyone has.

You wrote VLC when I think you meant VNC. VLC is a media player.

interesting, do you connect to a work citrix server? or do you have your own. I have to configure this alot in work. Quite a handy program.

For all intents and purposes, it is an all encompassing application within which other applications can run. Therefore since it is a program with a user interface, technically it can be called an application.
