Is there any way to make a shortcut to show and hide desktop icons?

something I could maybe put on my quicklaunch?

Hi, Go to the following link, and get Simply Transparent, one click and icons gone!one click and they are back!

or, you can set up two desktops

one with, one without icons, (the gui provides for four desktops per user),and just toggle back and forth

Create a file, paste the following...

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3

[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save file as showdesktop.scf

Why not just....

Right click on the desktop>arrange icons by>show desktop icons.

(or not show)
