Alternative to Windows Movie Maker?

I wanna make some simple movies but since my video card doesn't have WDDM drivers (thanks a lot Intel :dead: ), I can't start up Windows Movie Maker

Are there any free (and easy to use) alternatives out there that I can get instead?

I use Final Cut Express, but that's no help to you as it's a bit expensive. However, this looks promising: Vivia

Microsoft has just released Windows Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista. This one doesn't need WDDM drivers.

Net, any ideas if Google is going to get into the video editing business? And distribute a highly usable version free as they do so many other apps?
