Align to Grid

Is there a way to make every folder have "align to grid" turned on by default?

Does it work if you set one to align to grid an the go to tools->folder options, view tab and click "apply to all folders"?

Very good question kronus. I've been wondering that same question and tried numerous times to set my folders to "align to grid", but they always default back to auto arrange.
