everytime i open aim it closes about 5 secs after i open it.. how can i fix this?

are you running any pop up killers ?

yea i think i have one for IE

wow thank you i deactivated it and now it works.. but how come it worked before with no problem... it was only up until today that it started happening

not sure, but maybe you didnt have the popuo killer running....

try using AIM+. Do a google search, it removes ads from AIM and also allows multiple instances and transparency

i am using aim+ lol it still crashed but its fixed now

AIM+ is not an entirly different program, it runs on top of the aim95.exe

umm, maybe before you were booting up, and AIM loaded before the pop up killer, did you look into that at all? I don't know much about your problem though
