AGP 4x and 6800GT

Just to confirm before I send my hard earned away will it work with my AGP 4x motherboard?
PSU is sorted with a 650w mini powerplant

My Ultra requires at least 350w
so I think you could run a gt ok, and also power a small campsite.

Sorry EP missed the point of the post.
I was wondering if my old 4x AGP motherboard would take it or not?
Fixed the post now though. 3 hours sleep sucks

Well I think it will run on a 4x board, my old 9800 Pro would (even tho it was sepcced at 8)... you just won't be getting as much throughput?

Can't hurt to try and if it does fial you can always buy a new mobo
