I was wondering if there is a javascript code that can check to see if a webpage is somewhere and send you there if it it. The context is that I have a basic website running online now. I also have a linux webserver, but it doesn't run all day. I am trying to find a script that checks if there is a webpage at http://mysite.dyndns.org and sends visitors there if there is one. Any assistance anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think Javascript will cut it. I'd do it in PHP or some other server side language. Maybe try to open the page in question in the background (and display "please wait" or something) and only redirect if it works. The downside is that it will take a while (the timeout) before a failed attempt can be noticed.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
