ADSL problem

I install ADSL for people contractually, and the last one i installed all worked fine, but the guy had a new phone, and when the Adsl was connected you get terrible interference and noise on the phone line. Do the new phones work at such high Mhz they they are starting to get up there with the MHz of ADSL? has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

He also had another phone in the house which wasnt hands free and that had no problems at all.

I've heard of this...you can get a little gadget to plug into the 'phone' socket which dampens/removes that noise...cant remember what th f***ing thing is called tho :S

if i'm not mistaken the little gadget is called a filter (surprise!?) , anyway phone your ISP or the modems manufacture/supplier and ask them for it.

ALL the lines have filters on them. and i tryed quite a few different ones on this line and still had the problem
