ADSL Modem/Router

Is it better to have a combined ADSL Modem/Router or a separate Router and Modem? I have fitted the Network Cards into my 3 computers, and want them to be able to share a wired broadband internet connection, when broadband becomes available to me shortly.

A combo takes out the need for a modem. If you don't have one, go combo. If you do, get a normal router.

Also, a normal router will give you the opportunity to use it with broadband types other than DSL if you ever wish to switch.
