One has nothing to do with the other Ad Shield blocks advertising in MSIE while ad-aware finds and deletes spyware from your system. Both are excellent.

EVERYBODY should use ad aware, it's free, and great,

as allan said, adshield is for a completely differant purpose,
amd as allen said, it's also very good
