Added the XP link and deleted a registry key by accident

Think

It was just one of those days where I wasn't Thinking. I installed the Xp weblink on this forum and decided to delete it by going into the registry and removing the strings associated with the program....not realizing that it comes with an uninstall program!!

Everything is fine except I lost my Search and Help and Support shortcut in the start/menu program above and below the run.

When I right click on Start, then Properties, then Customize, then Advanced, the Search and Help and Support are check marked.

not sure if this will work...

Start > Help and Support > Undo changes to your computer with System Restore

select a date that is before when you F'd up. :D :D ;)

System Restore was disabled.

I need to do a clean install anyway and it's not that important since the search feature is visible when I open up a folder.

Thanks for the input:)

doh!

well... good luck with the clean install.

let me know how it goes, ive been thinking about reinstalling myself but have been :( because of an incident with my last computer.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
